Political threads always have a the potential of getting nasty really quick, but in my humble opinion, I'm not sure if the U.S. is ready for Obama OR Hillary.

My reasons are this...

OBAMA

1) Obama smokes. I don't know why that bothers me (I smoked for 27 years), but it does. Silly, huh?

2) Obama paid 15 parking tickets he had received when he was at Harvard from 1988 to 1991. He paid them off TWO WEEKS prior to announcing he was running for President. That bothers me. He's above the law until his record would be scrutinize, then he complies? What if he doesn't win? Will he be elevated above the law again and rack up more unpaid parking tickets?


HILLARY

1) Basically, my biggest beef with her is she stood by a guy who:

a) declared "he puffed marijuana, but didn't inhale." IF YOU SMOKED SOME GRASS WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER, SO WHAT?? Be a man about it....admit it. WE ALL did stupid things when we were younger. (thank Gawd for Doritoes)

b) Received a few "favors" from a young intern while he was in office. Now I'm a believer that a person's private life is just THAT.....PRIVATE (to hell with the press). Why should anyone in office be denied the same rights to privacy as anyone else? BUT after he was busted.....HE ATTEMPTED TO PUT THE ENTIRE BURDEN OF THE AFFAIR ON MONICA'S SHOULDERS. "I did not have sex with THAT woman." (what an incredulous JERK) Again......be a man about it....tell the press to mind their own damn business. I WOULD have respected that.

My response would have been, "Well maybe I did and maybe I didn't......it ain't anybody's business but mine. NOW HOW BOUT THEM DAWGS??!!!"

It seems as though this election is providing the same choices as most of the past......ya vote for the person you dislike the least. Is this the best America has to offer?? sheeeeeeeeeesh

If I was going to vote for a black man, it would be James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman. I respect both of these men, not only as actors, but as the people they seem to be.

If I were going to vote for a woman, it would be someone like Aunt B from the Andy Griffin show. Sure, she's as sweet as peaches-n-cream, but go ahead.....PISS HER OFF!

What happened to the all the James Stewarts and John Waynes? Even Hoss Cartwright would have made better President than some of these people. I think Tim McGraw or Toby Keith would make good presidents, as would Ted Nugent. How hard could it be?

No Harry. I sold my interest in the muffler bearing business, however I got a hell of a deal on those clips you put around the fuel line to increase your MPG.
WOW man, I bought their entire inventory for like $3.00 and will make a killing at a price of $.75 each. Just have to sell four and have my money back. I can make you a deal on 100,000 of them if you like.
Got a lead on solar powered fuel pumps too............
