Yes, Jessica once again shows she is a genius by figuring the phantom out. No doubt she will earn a PHD in no time. And the P.O. is booming Tiny, plenty of OT to go around. Good thing since PGS never bothered paying me for the last night I worked there in spite of Greg's assurances that he would make sure it happened personally. I guess you can't trust some people's word. Oh well.
So I thought hard about the offer to come free of charge Saturday night and I have decided to decline for several reasons.
1. Prior plans with significant other
2. Going to be freezing.
3. Not so sure personal vehicle will be in the same shape it was when I parked it.
4. Never walk into a lion's den, I don't trust these people.
5. Good chance something will happen and someone will go out in handcuffs. I like my cushy federal job and I first and foremost love my child enough to protect it.
6. Really don't have much interest, life away from the racing bs has been quite good to me.
I feel it is just not worth it in a place where assaults happen weekly and I have so many "friends" who would love to make my acquaintance. Then when I take action to defend, what do you want to bet I am the one going out in bracelets? Hell no, not worth it. I'm not stupid enough to walk into a setup such as what is being offered just to show that I have "balls enough" to do it. Only a fool would walk into this setup. So call me a p*ssy, because I know that's how it will be spun. But I will at least be a p*ssy with a good job able to support my family and that's what's important

If you're not wanting to come around, then why not just go away?

Oh get over yourself, you are not that important. You are blaming people for something they haven't done; sounds like a sorry excuse to me.
Trust me on this: the racers are only interested in concentrating on their cars, and the fans are there to relax and see some racing. Message board conflicts are just a mid-week fill in for our racing fix.
Stay away if you want, but at least give the real reason for it.
It's apparent there is a personal issue here so I read the posts with a grain of salt. Whatever that means.
However, I do wonder why this track, and others, will not post their full field payouts? I came from an area where payouts were known and published in the weekly racing papers. I don't know if they still do that, but they use to. Racers could, and did, make decisions on where they would race by looking at the payouts, not just the winners share. Spectators would look at the payouts and realize that if it was a decent purse there would be more and/or better cars racing. They would be more likely to attend. I can only assume the Florida tracks are embarrassed to publish their purses. Particularly when a track is asked over and over for the information and it is ignored.
Your 100% right I don"t understand it either. I have two fast rucks I have set out three races do to the fact I can not get a straight answer from the track.
Its a shame the whole community loses out (motel, resturants, gas stations etc) Do to the fact PGS does not wants to answer a few questions. It not just about PGS there are other business that could make money also if more car come from out of town.
