I just got a taste of the new Obamma health care system Saturday. Went to pick up one of my many perscriptions (insulin) and got a SHOCK! I get them filled every 90 days and it cost me $90. Now that same perscription is now $254 for 90 days. I guess I'll cut back to one injection a day instead of 2 and hope for the best. Can't wait to see what the others cost. You gonna help me out with the extra expense Cripple Creek? I sure do miss the Bush days!

My grandmother take the insulin and pills the pills just went up to a copay of $90 and the insulin was $125. She needs it to survive but its going to be hard to survive with the rate the medicine prices are rising

Is it because the insurance companies are paying less? I believe the insurance companies fought for that and it was a compromise that they got. I could be wrong but between big pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, and health care companies, not much got accomplished with the health care system. Just imagine how bad those without insurance are. I may be joining them soon. As for your statement regarding Muslims and saying we don't try to kill anyone that doesn't believe as we do, have you ever heard of the "Crusades"? There are certain factions of the Muslim religion that are fundamental and believe that all non-believers should die. They are actually a small percentage of all Muslims so it's unfair to characterize all Muslims the same. Just as it's unfair to characterize all Christians as having the Pope as their leader and not believing in birth control.
As for the wars Bush started, the Iraq war had nothing to do with 9-11. For once, it appears the French were right and we should have taken a little more time with Hussein. Afghanistan is different and was definitely a safe haven for terrorists. As for Kennedy and the Bay of Pigs: it use to be called the Bay of Pigs fiasco and was a dark spot in the Kennedy term. His handling of the Cuban missile crisis was the best thing he ever did for this country and I believe that is what most of you are probably referring to.
BTW, throughout history it shows that most democracies only last about 200 years before they end. We are past 200 years old so we shouldn't just assume that we will prevail. We need to work to bring our democracy back. I'm afraid the politicians have already, all but, eliminated it. Do away with the two party system and institute term limits to eliminate "career" politicians. Of course, if we do that, none of the politicians will have any experience.
