      Chicken or egg first?
Full stands sure is a lot of why's,but low cost for fan's is a biggy, but really with out a show your selling ice at the north pole,. Man if only the lotto would hit big,I'd wast some on a 1/4 mile bank drit in se fla. were there is no tracks anymore and still some rednecks.
Yes maybe wast is the word, but I'd have fun.

        i think 10bucks is cheap! so 12 is reasonable.imo
25 for the pits is getting out of hand. when you take your family and spend 125.00 every week. i think the driver should be the only one to pay the 25.
we will never race desoto for this reason 30.00. these day's?? do somthing for your drivers and fans!! i knoe owning and running a track is not easy. but try cut money elsewhere instead of passing it on to the drivers. jmo
we race a kid's class and we dont get anything back at all. not complaing but,
we drive an hour over, 125.00 to get in plus food and gas.. were barely hanging on! but we love to race so i'll do it for as long as we can!

I know that Auburndale has a special for families. Its 2 adults and 2 children (6-12 years of age) for $25, and regular admission for adults is $12.

Bronson is $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for seniors 60 and over and handicap, children 12 and under free and this is year round, no price hikes for bigger races or special shows.

i would think it would depend on what kind of cars were racing

i have been going to races for long time -- dirt asphalt and have been to about ever race track in united states have watched ever thing that has wheels on it all way to super modifieds at oswega to fastest dirt cars in world

if you are going to watch 4 cycl - and go carts - and lawn mowers - and just for trophys race you probably would not pay much more than 4 or 5 dollars

now if there were a track that raced super late models - at least 20 - maybee split them out ever other week with real sprint cars at least 20 cars

then had regular ever week open wheel modifieds 20 or more sportsman cars at least 20 then street stock at least 20 and either swap out with mini stocks at least 20 or they don't race

then put on a good enough show that the stands are packed so you can pay the classes enough that the track can make money and the car owner can make enough to support the car

if super late model can't make enough to pay for fuel - tires or any of classes there is some thing wrong some were

if you can get the cars at the track the people will come and they will pay for the show

ain't no body gonna sit up in stands and watch cars go around the track 40 miles and hour spin out and take 30 minutes to restart the race to follow the leader

only reason people are bitchin about price is they ain't seeing nothing for there money

$10 to $15 sounds good for a regular nights racing with a good show.
I know Hendry County costs $12 and you can buy them in advanced for $10.
I seen on their web sight that they have Sprints and Late mosels in the same night and are only charging $15 for the grandstands. I'll deff. be there
