  • Governor's Cup: Who All's going?

    Roll call

Planning on being there, but probably not until later in the afternoon/evening.

    On another note:

Saw Scofield is listed as driving a #92 sponsored by Husqvarna and The Villages Racing. Is that Anderson's #92?

Saw Kittleson is coming; listed as driving Drawdy's #12 (hey! That's our car number! ).

I'm counting at least ten good, strong cars coming, with the possibility of maybe another five or so with a long shot.

Some cars from out of state for a change Could this be good for the Cup - and the World Series come February?

We'll be there for the pic-nic outside on Saturday and then the race.
Lot of us regulars every year will be there too....

We have been updating the Expected/Confirmed Roster all day... If everyone expected shows up that will make 45 cars... will know better tomorrow and will post updates as they are available on our Facebook page!

I'll be there both nights hopefully to capture the action for a few publications. I hope to make it out to the outside festivities for a minute or two to say hey as well.

I'll be there, along with Palmbayer, AB195, Boneman, RSB said he's coming, I have heard OSF will be there... Kim & Chris Brown, plus Mark Keeler will likely come to the BBQ for a while...and quite a few that don't get on Karnac.

Look for us by the tree line to the north of the ticket booth. Come by, have a bite & a cold beer with us.

I will be racing (well holding the wheel anyway) on Friday and will try to stop by and meet some of you on Saturday if all goes well earlier in the day.

Just read that 37 cars are now confirmed pre-entries. In talking with Kim Brown earlier, I found that Jimmy Weller (originally from Ohio, but living in NC) and Becca Kasten from Wisconsin are already there, and Choquette was on his way.

This is getting to be way cool!!!

Working turn 4 gate tomorrow night !

Will set up a table in breeze way part ot the time Saturday, with banner and tickets, flyers to the Charity Truckers 200.

Yeah, I'll be there a lil' later in the day, probably not til right around 7pm or so. Bringin' a first-time race fan, so gotta wait on him to get off of work at 5:15pm, gonna leave straight from there.

Then gotta get through Orlando, provided that, UNLIKE two years ago, I don't have to fight through downtown Orlando traffic and that damn football game...LOL....took me two hours in 2008 JUST to get from Conroy Road to OBT, then we took the 408 out to 417 and then north back to I-4. Got to the track at the halfway point of the Cup....

                            Jimmy...

Take the first 417 Exit off I-4 (by Celebration)... Take that all the way to the Sanford Airport Exit (first one after Lake Jessup).

Go Right at the light then Right at the next light... That will take you past the Sanford Airport and then turns into 415... Just stay on that road and it will take you straight to the track.

It is a toll road (417) but will shave about an hour if not more off the total drive and skip ALL Orlando traffic!

                              Damn. :-) That's what I was hoping to avoid...LOL...

Hmmm...yeah, I knew that 415 ran all the way down here somewheres, never been that way before. I'll have to see what kind of $$$ I have before I leave...and yeah, I'm coming from west of the Disney area (west 192), so we might have to try that route.

                              Thanks, Mark!
