  • Chris Fontaine

Chris qualified 6th today at Talladega Superspeedway. This is Chris's first time on this track.

Chris Fontaine's new NCWTS Toyota Tundra #84 was the fastest truck on the track at one time and seventh quickest during most of this morning's practice session at Talladega Superspeedway.

Fontaine's Glenden Enterprises #84 NCWTS truck is also sporting a new paint scheme this weekend. The truck is bright blue, bright red, and has a bright yellow hood replacing the familiar flames.
Lakeland Florida's Chris Fontaine will be driving the Glenden Enterprises #84 NCWTS Toyota Tundra at Talledega Superspeedway in this Saturday's Mountain Dew 250 Fueled by Fred's at 4:00 PM ET on SPEED TV.

Good Luck to Chris and the team!!!

20-year old Austin Dillon is Mike Dillon’s son which of course
        makes him Richard Childress’s grandson.

Austin won ROY in 2008 in what is now known
        as NASCAR’s K & N Series.

This is his first full year in the NCWTS, has racked-up
two wins, 5-poles and is in contention for Raybestos ROY.

His younger brother, Ty Dillon, is making his mark now
in Dirt Late Models as well as ARCA.

Ty is competing in Dirt Late Models this weekend at
        Talladega’s dirt track.

He ran out out fuel in the tri-oval coming to the green white checker finish. He coasted to the end of pitroad and sat just in front of the last pitstall at pit exit while the race finished under green. I believe he was 3rd at the point his fuel ran out. He led quite a few laps against some serious Nascar veterans. I don't ever recall him running so good. They had a good truck at Talladega.

If nothing else, he got more exposure in that one race than in his whole life combined and led against Nascar's best in a home based effort. The result wasn't what he had hoped, but it was a good day.

I hope what you just tried to convey wasn't what I think. Are you telling me that you think Fontaine could take Kyle Busch on Kyle's best day? If you meant something else, my apologies. If it is what you meant, may I inquire what type
of mineral spirits you are huffing?

Chris had a great day. He stayed out of trouble and ran the bottom pretty much the whole race. Kyle Busch is the one that pushed Chris into the lead.

Running out of fuel with a few laps to go must have been a real kick in the nads and the wallet.

                              Overall GREAT job Chris.
