I am sorry to hear this news. Rick and I raced against each other for a while, but he seemed to be pretty private so we didn't really know each other. I remember a guy who was pretty intense and competitive, and who won a bunch of races. He wasn't that old, was he?

Rick was 54. We don't know what caused his death yet. My guess is a heart attack but I don't know for sure. He was quite a character. He won the mini stock championship in 2001 I think.
