Well 76 we agree on somthing. Truth do some homework the ar wouldent run 5 laps on a good race car without blistering.The goodyear might?but i woud not say without testing. The new pavement killed every thing we tried for 2 months.(Test dont guess)
After goodyear moved the plant to canida suply was a prob.
We did runt hat tire on mods for 1 year(Rick Day and SARA) it wasent to bad just didnt get it sold to the racer.
Rember nomater what the rule is the same guy win.

tires i know some thing about tires . for one thing if your car handles or any bodys lets say open wheels --- i heard one guy say he could run right side four weeks and left side 8 weeks - maybee you did did you win or run in top two

lets take some open wheel drivers and ask them do they get one night - or how many -- lets ask - L B skaggs - wayne jefferson- ralph bowman eric rudd scott kliber doug moff - kieth lilley - neuman - robbie cooper lj grimm -tony carenno any of you guys know of a tire you can run four weeks on right side or 8 weeks on left side - i ain't trying to start a pi$$ing contest

Ok I'm not one of the drivers you talked about but will say the 2 times I got to run goodyear treaded before they took them away at NSS I won both nights. So between practice, heat and feature probally 50 laps each night. Looking at the tires it looked like had another 2 nights on the rights before I needed to change them but never got to see if that would of hold true. I've also talked to Robbie Cooper earlier this year and he told me he was getting 3 to 4 nights at Citrus on his American Racers.
I did talk to the American Racer people at the PRI show last year about running them at NSS and he said there would be no problem. I was not there for the test so can't speak on the that or what they tested and not calling anybody a lier. I'm just stating what American Racer representative told me. I will stop by and talk to American Racer people again this year.

i don't guess it matters what tire you run as long

as ever body runs the same tire , but i would like to get two 8 lap warm ups and 40 lap and at least heat race the next week

I can tell you I won a race last year at Punta Gorda and had 5 races on my left sides and 3 on my right sides. This year I've noticed guys bolting on new tires every race. If I'm gonna need to bolt tires on every race to be competitive then I say put us back on slicks and make this cars what they are suppose to be again. I am referring to the OWM's. Then again if we have to buy 3 different types of tires it won't work anyway.

run tires per your track rule. pay other track $30.00 to stamp them ,it's all about money anyway.

what the problem is that all the tracks have to do it not just 1 or 2
the heck with staping that diidnt work before.
Now u can run the tire of your choice as long as it 1 of the track treaded tires in fla .
