Recent Auburndale Late Model Race

I've recently heard a great deal of controversy regarding the caution where I lost the lead, and Jonathan Guy inherited the lead... I was unaware there was such controversy, because my shifter hung in 2nd gear on the restart. Apparently it appeared as though he turned me into the infield? That was not the case, and in fact I thanked him for being alert and not slamming me when I didn't take off.

Everyone has worked hard to put on a good show there with an impressive group of drivers, lets not discredit that with an issue that doesn't exist. Hope to see everybody there for the big money race there the 16th!

This is why Daniel is considered one of the classiest guys out there... That could have been a major mess but it was avoided by some heads-up driving and Dan's decision to get off the track as quick as possible... Unfortunately, there are some Auburndale "fans" who don't like the fact that the track owners' son is a pretty darn good driver... Thanks for your post Dan and we'll see you on the 16th... That is gonna be one heckuva race!
