Friends

You know recently I have gotten a realization of how great the friends that I have are; whether they be friends, racing buddies, racing friends, or just great folks trying to help. I have been going through some tough times just like alot of folks, but I am so glad that I do have great friends like I do... You know who you are, don't worry about it. I appreciate everything you have done...

I know sappy crap tonight, but I had too because I appreciate everyone, whether good or bad.

Hope to be able to see everyone this weekend. And I truly hope that everyone has an awesome night and weekend....

i know how you feel. sometimes life deals a few bad hands and its good to know you can lean on friends.... its so nice that you take the time to let them know how much their help and love make it easier for you to cope. i too have some wonderful friends in racing and in my personal life. i thank God for them....and i thank them for always opening their hearts to me.good luck with what you are going thru. i will keep you in my prayers.

I know how you feel Duane. After finding out about Alex's foot, I have had alot of really good friends behind me, helping me to stand up at times. I really though we had his feet fixed and all we had to worry about were his hands but not true. This wonder boot that is being made in Ft. Lauderdale will tell us if he can walk, how he will walk, or if the pain will go away that he is constantly in. But without a few certain people on this board, they know who they are, I would probably be more of a basketcase than I am.

That was from my friend Julie who died two years ago this month and I miss every single day but look at this little box with that message inside and know she is here with me, helping me, loving me. Real friends are far and few but when you find one, treasure them forever.
