Patriarch of the Hahn racing family from Golden Gate speedway.
Donald Hahn passed away this week. His son's Buddy and Terry drove early models owned by him back in the 60's and 70's. They were cars 70 and 71 and usually had Hahn's BP on the side as sponsor. Some of the top hired drivers of the day drove for Don too while the sons were in the military.
His grandson Tim was a Kart and ministock racer around the state also and helped me finish out my racing days as my crew chief in the FMSC series.
