Nineteen cars took qualifying time, with Jeff Scofield, showing no ill affects from yesterday’s practice crash, sets fast time for tonight’s Sunoco FAST 100 with a lap 16.961 seconds (106.314 mph) in car no. 86. Series point leader Wayne Anderson clocked in at 16.999 (105.889) for second fast, followed by Steve Dorer (17.083 sec./105.368 mph), Brian Finney (17.090 sec./105.325 mph), Austin Kirkpatrick ( 17.122 sec./105.128 mph), and Todd Allen (17.204 sec./104.627 mph). Have seen almost all of the FAST Races so far, missed this biggie at Lake City. Great Series to follow. 19 Supers to watch tonight, it should be good.
And Auburndale pulls in 22 Super-Lates on the same night..... what's up with that? -

Follow the leader for the most part. Dorer did a good job coming up through the field but that was about the only passing most of the night.sigpicComment
