Son of Boneman in action

My oldest son turned 15 this week, so he took his first laps in my Strictly Stock tonight. We had the car at Orlando Speedworld for a test and tune night that found 2 first time drivers in my car, and Andy "The Secret Weapon" Sandall running about 50 laps of practice.

My friend from work took was one of the new drivers. It was her first time in a racecar, and even though she took it pretty easy, her hands were shaking like a teenager after too much Red Bull.

Now my boy gets to have the distinction of saying the first time he drove a stick shift was a racecar on a race track! He had a great time and I was certainly a proud dad.

It's good to see a young man in a racecar ! Keep him pointed in a direction and keep him busy at whatever holds his interest. That is important in today's times, way too many things to steer our children in the wrong directions. I'm sure you are proud of him.
