The "Meatball" Flag--

Never have seen this before. Not kidding.

Out West, it's a black flag with a big red dot on it.

Which means to the driver, "mechanical problems, return to the pits." I'll guess you still get your spot back.

As opposed to the black flag out West, which means "return to the pits, you have been disqualified."

Its a great idea would make it easier for the driver understand that they can come back out and there not DQ for something.

That's helpful. Dave Westerman and I thought it meant it was time to hit the concession stand because meatball sandwiches were half-price.
