in the case of Punta Gorda we cant spend alot of time drying the track. we have to be done and out of there by 11:30... so if we can call it at a reasonable hour the drivers can settle down and plan for the next day. we used to have plenty of makeup sundays and alot of people showed up. some people just want to argue about EVERYTHING..... grrrrrrrr

Being a "woman" has nothing to do with why Rick or anybody else has issues with the posts you make, Carol.

It's the fact that, as usual, your view of things is skewed by personal feelings and the unexplainable presumption that you have to comment, respond or pass judgement on almost every single post or thread that comes down the pike.

It gets tiresome.

Here's a question for you: Have you ever built a race car, towed it to a local track, paid an exorbitant amount of money to enter into the pits, worked your ass off to get it ready to race, got wrecked in that race then worked the rest of yours and your crews asses off the next week to come back to that same track the next week?

If not then don't think you can begin to sympathize with or understand anything about what a racer feels or thinks. The Owner/Promoter to Racer relationship is a world apart from the Owner/Promoter to Fan deal.

No doubt, cooperation between tracks would be like the eighth wonder of the world for short track racing.

Duh.

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to come up with that golden nugget of wisdom. But after racers complaining about it for 50 years and track owners either not being successful at it or blatantly not wanting to even attempt it...the average Joe Racer gets tired of hearing about it....especially not from someone who has never been on either end of the equation and dealt with the issues on a personal basis.

So stop thinking people have an anti "woman's" point of view when they just have their bullcrap filters on.

so am i correct in assuming that anyone who isnt a driver or a mechanic should just shut the hell up and not care enough to spend hours and hours working to help the drivers. i may not be able to tear a freaking motor apart Matt but i sure can help promote racing.

i do what i think is right and i try to learn something when im wrong... you should do the same because i dont remember seeing you every week in a race car!
right now im going thru worse things than you could ever wish on me so just go pound sand and DONT read my posts. Rick and i get along fine and we were having a discussion ... just messin around. you didnt need to jump in and defend him... hes a nice guy and unlike you he sometimes disagrees with me but unlike you he is never disrespectful.

Never assume you are correct, Carol. The odds just don't look too great for that kind of outcome. BUT...shutting the hell up is a great start....and please don't worry about anyone here on WARNAC ever being able to forget how many hours you spend reminding us of how many hours you spend promoting racing. For all the whining you've done in the past and STILL do about people being run off of this website....the only ones who have ever "left" because of anybody, are myself and a few others who either get banned because of you or just get sick of seeing you have to run your piehole about everything and anything that happens on here.
