Daytona’s Ben Kennedy set fast time with a 17.734 sec. lap (101.500 mph), followed by Jeff Choquette (17.737 sec., 101.483 mph), Wayne Anderson (17.769 sec., 101.300 mph), Jeff Scofield (17.787 sec., 101.198 mph), BJ McLeod (17.799 sec., 101.129 mph), and Bobby Good (17.800 sec., 101.124 mph). These six will draw for starting positions for the 100-lap Late Model feature.
