Wow, we better not take for granted a single day we are given here. This will be a life-changing time for your family, so I hope and pray that Ron Jr. comes out healthy, and the Abney clan ends up better and more united than ever.

I've missed your car at the track but had no idea of the problem, Ron. My thoughts and well wishes are with you, Ron Jr, and the family. 37 is too young.

Ron, very sorry to hear that, bud. I've watched you Abney boys for years around here, and hate to hear anything like that about anyone. Hope Junior gets better and beats that "monster" and gets back out on the track soon. One of these days, I'll get to say "Hi" in person

you are both in my most heartfelt prayers. No age is a good age to have cancer. it is always a terrifying word to hear when it affects a loved one. you are part of our racing family and i know whoever reads this will be thinking of you and hoping for a 100% return to good health...you are our loved ones....
be strong and stay strong in your faith. our prayers will reach God's ears and He will hear us... God bless you Ron and bring you to good health. God bless you Ron Sr. You are not alone ...

                      Ron,

Your whole family is in my prayers especially your son. I do believe in prayer and God and I know he will watch over your son and take good care of him. Cancer is scary, any kind, but they are coming up with more and more ways to beat it. My dad had prostrate cancer and is still here and I thank God everyday for that.

Just know that your family is loved and you have many praying for all of you. I know it is hard but stay positive especially your son. And if you need anything, please let me know.

                      Jane

                        Rex said it best...

we sure dont know when tragedy or even loss will hit us or how hard. i think it is so important to either treat people good or just leave them alone. life is painful enough and everything as we know it can change in the blink of an eye.
treat people good. be kind and understanding and forgiving. the person you are angry with for some silly reason or another may be going thru a horrid time. whether you are a believer or not, it is the right thing to do. this planet is our home....like it or not, we are all family...

Hey Ron, my sincerest wishes in that things work out... I am with Boneman on this one again, I for one think alot of us take for granted in what we have... For some it may not be much, and for some it may be alot... I know times are tough right now for me, but I feel fortunate everyday that I don't have to deal with something like what you and your family are dealing with currently...

Again my best wishes, and if we can do anything to help you guys out, please let us know...
