Other than the overall speed suffering, I wouldnt care if they let you use two rubber bands and legos for a motor. I want to see a bunch of SLM's with talented drivers running. If it takes more money in the purse, lets do that or tie in with the Derby somehow.

The real competition is going to be from Gresham's World 300 show the week before the Gov Cup. I doubt teams are going to want to hit all three and the ones i want are definitely going to the Derby so it is between Gresham and the Gov Cup and the purse there is in line with the Derby.

Rick, This has nothing to do with the spec motor! It has to do with NSS. What i said was if they make the spec engines run the different carb during those 2 events, then they should do it all year or vice versa.I am in complete agreement with keeping the rules the same. But unfortunatley, they decide to let Brooks come down here and it will never work!! PERIOD!! You made the most valid point.....PURSE!

Also.....there are less than 10 guys in this state who have the balls to go north to race! you worked with some, and we raced a little last year. Most would rather be able to test 2-3 times a week and win instead of go racing againest guys with the same budgets!

2700 lbs, 362 cu in, one carbureator(sp), no traction control, track width (?) , left side 58%, PERIOD!!!!!!!

Bring it and lets get it on...........

I am happy to finally see a weekends worth of racing for numerous classes. Gee, i wonder where that idea came from???????
