9.9 second lap at Slinger in a Sprint Car

Just read something on Speed51 about the recent visit to slinger by the winged sprints. Fastest lap was a record 9.9 seconds - man that is fast. They said if they came back in the cooler months with more time to setup they felt a 9.6 was possible. Troy DeCaire was first to break 10 seconds - the Jeff Bloom brought it down to 9.906. Havent seen a video of it yet, anybody got one?

What an awesome racetrack. I was there a few years ago and was awestruck. One of the true "must see's" in the short track world.

I, too, have been there last June, to Mr. Todds' advice.
I have been to the "mountaint top", the very best, and it was good. A pretty high bar has been set from this Raceway. Anderson Speedway, Indiana is close to it, though.
