The V8 StockCar Road Racing Series announces the first annual "Hurricane Cup" . The award will go to the team that accumulates the most points from the next two rounds of the series, Sebring, September 4 & 5 and Homestead-Miami, September 18 & 19. Drivers in all four V8 Series classes will be eligible.
V8 GT-1: SCCA GT-1, Rolex GT
V8 GT-2: SCCA STO, T1, GT-2, WC GT & TC, Koni/Continental cars, Miller Mustangs etc
V8 SPO: Super lates, Cup, Busch, Nationwide, Hooters etc
V8 GTA: SCCA GTA
Sebring on September 4 & 5 will be on the 3.54 mile seventeen turn, 12 hour course, where our fastest cars hit 175 plus mph. At Homestead the series will be using the Grand Am Rolex Series course, utilizing NASCAR turn 3 and 4.
