so i am assuming you have spoken to Kevin? what gave you the idea he wont run crates. actually i think we have. i know kevin wants to eliminate alot of the BS and make racing fun and affordable for everyone. i also know that no matter what he does, someone wont be happy...
i personally think there are way too many classes and some are way too similar. i agree that we need to do something to make the car counts better but cant keep asking the drivers to change their cars.
i dont know the answer but maybe you do. how much difference is there between a sportsman and a LLM? could they be combined? i REALLY dont know. i am trying to learn. Thanks
carol
Yes many fans, mostly the new fans can't tell some classs apart .(O for new fans/hip hip hara)
Any 2 class's that look a lot a like can be combined and add a better show when things are low car count, but there needs to be a pay off for each in a way=like fastist of both class is running for top 10 place pay off and slower class is running as high as they can get into top 10 place plus pay for that class top 5=== exsample is slower class car finishs 8th over all and first of slower class <gets 8th pay plus 1st pay of slower class.
Adds to something along this line; slow cars get; 1=$25,2=$20,3=$15,4=$10,5=$5.
Fastist class runs for over all,may look something like;1=$50 and drops $5 for each place.
This exsample shows how to make it work, cus slower class has a short a making out OK too. And track gets a better show with more cars pre race.
Yes we did do it that way, some years ago, all year in South east Fla..
