    Thirty five late models showed up for the $3,000 to win Late Model race at Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, GA

    I finally was able to find some results:

    5. 71 Bo Allen
    6. 6 Kyle Bridges
    7. 47 Tyler Ivey
    8. 00 Russell Brown

    10. 58 Mark Whitener

    The complete name of the driver who finished in 9th position is Kelly Walker.

      The Rest of the Story

      Here are the rest of the results from last Saturday's grand opening race program at Needmore Speedway:

      In the Late Model B race, Lee Newsome was first. He was followed by Charles Sealy, Gary Palmer, Dale Groves, Austin Hunnicutt, Derrick Pearce, K.H. Shealey, Brandon DeWitt, Leon Johnson and Earl Boyette.

      The mini-stock race was won by Scott Burgess. Eric Burke was second and Payton NeSmith was third. The rest of the top 10 included Brett Roberts, Mike Keown, Jonathan Holland, Brian Taylor, Kris Riley, Jim Marshall and Johnny Gibson.

      In the Enduros class, Daniel Thompson was first, followed by Steve Connell and Jeff Guinton. Donald Dawkins was fourth and was followed by Tammy Smith, Jaried Lanier, Joey McRae, Joe Clark, L.C. Wilkerson and Michael Adams.

      In a second Enduros race, Wesley Burke took the checkered flag. Tommy Skinner was second and Randy Merwin came in third. Greg Barber, Larry Croft, Ed Striplin, Chris Nabors, James Schrieber, James Sirmans and Jeffrey Deberry rounded out the top 10.

      Lee Wilkerson won one of the Pure Stock feature races. Bradley Frakes was second and Michael Hudgins was third. Rounding out the top 10 were Travis Stone, Daniel Thompson, Kenny Brooks, Steve Bennett, Chris Cunningham, T.J. Rigdon and “Big Curt.”

      Grady Christian drove his No. 36 car to a win in the second Pure Stock feature. Christian was followed by Will Thompson, Milton Posey, David Powell, Nevin Gainey, Sonny Thompson, Jimmy Sloan Sr., Kyle Livingood and Ricky McDonald.

      Jimmy Sloan Jr. took one of the Super Street races. Jason Price was second and Tim Dixon was third. They were followed by Bill Adkins, Scott Waters, Jay Johnson, Curtis Rogers, Randy McLendon, Garrett Pohl and David Ponton.

      In the other Super Street race, Tony Browning was first, leaving Steve Bennett in second and Milton Posey in third. Zane Johnson was fourth and was followed by Michael Canady, Cody West, Kyle Livingood, Brandon Godwin, Troy Owens and Jay Owens.
