thank you for being so kind. i wasnt angry at you and i sure dont think badly of you but i think telling people to shut up is wrong. i never allow my kids to say that to anyone.
you are intelligent and you have alot of creative ideas but let me assure you, the guy you told to shut up has been to hundreds of tracks, knows thousands of people in racing and can write a book about racing. telling him to shut up kinda makes you look silly. i dont think jerry is right about everything. we disagree on a million things but we have remained friends and we respect each others ideas and opinions. never ever have we told each other to shut up. ;-)
i am honored that you call me "mommy"... God knows ive been called worse and the truth is i really do love people and even love the ones i dont like. make sense?

I'll try again to get my point across with more sensivity - here goes -
Instead of shut up and race -
Karnacians- Please don't write negative comments in an effort to hurt the feelings of Orlando Speedworld's past and present employees, owners, and racers. Your negative comments are not appreciated by those of us that support the track. If you have positive ideas for betterment of the racing facility, please fill out a comment card and place it in the suggestion box located in the racetrack office. Your kindness and support is appreciated during these tough ecomomic times.

Don't worry, Aunt Jane (and I am an Aunt to one nephew I adore) has never spanked him once so you are probably safe really. Not sure if I ever spanked anyone really however at times I did want to but knew it would do no good. I think my mother spanked me once and then found out that my cousin was the one who did it and not me and she cried as much as I cried because I was innocent.
Anyway, you are safe about being spanked. Like I have said before and will again, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TRACK.

Hey, let me know I know a good shirt maker!! Guess I'm thick heeaded, being called that would be mild compared to some things I've been called on here.!! I understood what you said, negativity wears out, heck I've even let up on Boney .......a little tiny bit!! Jane, thats a great idea to try to contact some of the people that used to race there. I know phone #'s change but a lot of them are on here. Maybe have a race called " Appreciation night to all former owners and drivers. Free admission, Tires fuel at cost, I dont know what else, I'm not a promoter. Maybe, just maybe there are a FEW that still do own cars that would come out, MAYBE it would light the fire and they would return. Some live in a dream world thinking all of a sudden, for some unknown reason the stands will fill, THEN the payouts will increase and car count will increase, sorry, will never happen. The SHOW has to improve first, exactly how? Isn't the fan turn-out good for Crash-A-Rama, figure 8 races, Demo derby (If they still have it). What about the charity race? Bash Rick or pat him on the back for it but does anyone really think the turn out is soley to help needy people? Its the show!! I'm not sure how to do all this, like I said I'm not a promoter, but I have seen some good suggestions, hope some of it happens. Ureztopass, if your comment about holding a grudge about something from the past was in referance to me telling what happened to a friend of mine 2-3 years ago, that started the big Tuna Bash, that was intended to be only a suggestion, try getting in touch with some of these people no longer racing. because I KNOW if someone had called him at the time he would of returned. One thing is definitely true in all this, there are some faces that were always at Orlando that aren't now and they need, if they still have their cars, to be back there.
All I can say is that I made some wonderful friends at Orlando and met so many wonderful people. Some are still there, some have moved away, and some are just sitting at home because they have given up. Maybe I will go back in my archives and put out a few names that use to always be there and people can find them and talk to them. It won't hurt and maybe it could help but I will see what and who I can come up with that is missing.
Hope everyone has a good Thursday and SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TRACK.

Nothing aimed at your comments past or present any longer, I've decided you are really a good feller - if your wrong about something, I'm sure your pal Boney will correct you - you two make reading this forum fun -
I'm just like many others - sick and tired of the complaining from people that do nothing to help the track. They don't race there, they don't go there, but they seem to think the track owes them something - I guess some people think they have some kind of self-ownership stake in the track. To them I say - "shut the hell up" - if that is disrespectful to whoever may be a racing legend or whatever in florida - so be it - just shut your traps - The only people that have a right to complain are the ones that are currently supporting the track today - by owning it, working there, racing there, or sitting in the grandstands -
I don't know Robert H, but to the best of my knowledge, he owns the track and can do damn well what he pleases - don't like it - then buy it or lease it from him - put your money where your mouth is - except I'm sure most people complaining have much more mouth than money -
I personally could lease the track and I believe my business model would be successful - when the economy improves - I may put my money where my mouth is - and you can bet - the complainers will be begging to race there. One thing for sure - there would be payouts which will bring many of these complainers back to the track - they can be bought - it is not about their morals - it's all about the greenbacks !Comment

you just made a valid point people seem to forget. Robert does own the track and he can do what he wants. even tho he isnt making a dime he is keeping the tracks open. he owns 3 of them and they are all open! the economy will get better and i think Robert will go with the flow. he is FAR from stupid. sometimes we have no idea what makes Robert tick...but he does tick! ;-)
there are quite a few people working because Robert makes that possible. NONE of us know it alls know all the answers and for that reason i partly agree with you... its the same as politics... if you dont vote, then dont bitch... if you dont do a single thing (besides complain) to help promote our sport then zip da lip! roflll now thats a good tee shirt... "Zip da lip"...
have a zipper in place of lips...
