OMG Rick... i think im gonna drown...i have seen so many of these Military homecomings and no matter how many i still sob thru the whole thing. those gasping sobs...lol i live for the day every single one of our soldiers are back here with their loved ones. i think our military should surround the US of A and protect her borders , air and sea... they need to come home! but until they can they will remain in my heart and in my prayers.
this is the one thing Matt and i will forever agree on. God bless our soldiers and all the people who cannot be with them... especially their little ones.
i have a special place in my heart for our military, law enforcement, firefighters and paramedics. anyone who selflessly devote their lives to helping and saving others. They are so special.
thank you for sharing this. you can believe that i for one think of these people every single day of my life and my flags hang proudly everyday in their memory!!!

Carol, you need them other there to keep the enemies of the U.S.A. far from our borders. It has to be that way. God bless each one of them. We just had a freind ship out a few weeks ago on a carrier for 6 months.

what i really meant to say ....

i meant to say "bring all our soldiers home to guard this country AFTER WE NUKE IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN!" if they come here they will show us no mercy. so we need to put the fear of God in them!!!! if those people want freedom then let them fight for it like America, Croatia, and many other countries have! we really need to show our strength. the war over there is NEVER going to end!
we have been too tolerant and lenient and we have paid a high price for it.
Rick... i pray your friend makes it thru his service and will be home safely soon.

You both are right. I get soo tired of people saying "We shouldn't be over there, let them fight among themselves". I wish it were that simple. Does anyone think if we come home we won't be fighting them right here? Don't I remember something about 9/11? Who did that?? We are too easy on them. I hate we're there but we have to be or "it" will be here, again. And no the Pres. wants to legalize all the illegal immigrants. He needs the votes

the guys who caused 9/11 were here! they learned how to fly here. right in venice florida... we need to clean up this country because they are already here and i believe they have a master plan... if all of our soldiers are over there then they have a good chance of taking over right here while our soldiers are away.
and our govt. needs to be changed. every single rep, senator etc. are corrupt and leading us to disaster. the American people NEED to take some action .."we the people of the united states, in order to form a more perfect union"..... read it...WE THE PEOPLE.....who are enjoying freedom but not earning it,we need to take a more active part in maintaining our morals and freedoms.
everyone complains about our govt. but thats all. just complain and do little... we count on our soldiers to do it all... they need our support and our power! here! right here in America... we may very well have to fight here but thats the price for freedom... the enemy is HERE! and we let them in!
i may be way out of line but i feel we should take care of our own house...make it safe and maintain our values and beliefs so that we have the strength and ability to fight back. like we used to when America was strong and powerful! we are still the best country in the world... we just need to get back to values and stop relying on everyone else to do it for us. it is our country... our home and we need to defend it! the wars in the middle east have been going on since humanity and we are NEVER going to make it different... we have been there for decades and not much has changed. we cant even find a 7 foot man who is known the world over... a man who sends us messages of gloom and doom...and means it!
