George Thompson, former owner of Cordele Speedway and brother of Liz Roberts (former NSS Office Manager) passed away this afternoon after a brave battle with cancer.

The entire FASCAR Family, Staff, Management and Owners would like to extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Thompson Family during this time of grieving.

Met Mr Thompson years ago when I was race directing for Florida Pro Series, and we went there to race. Very nice man. My condolences to Liz and the rest of his family. God Bless.
