I check with the Speedway Line Report, where I originally found the story, from time to time to see if they have any updates on Gene, but I've not seen anything. I'll have to check with Tom Ormsby, whose website that is, personally and see what is going on. I'll post whatever I get back.

Just talked to Bugsy Tom & Bobby Judkins......

Gene was unconscious all this time and he can now move his head but still cant talk. Hes had tubes in his throat. Bobby said he seemed to know he was there and opened his eyes to look at him. But Gene isnt doing well and will be put in a rest home for care. They cant find what caused him to pass out. they dont even know how long he laid on his floor until he was found. Bugs said hes sure Gene had a massive stroke. One thing is for sure. Gene has alot of people checking on him that really care about him. I hope he is aware because since his wife died, Gene has been very lonely... Its sad...

Bobby Judkins just told me his grandson is driving Bugsys old blue #3!!!!

Thanks Carol. I still sent out an message to Tom Ormsby anyway. Hopefully he'll be able to keep me up to date and I'll post what I hear on this forum.
