Needmore Speedway Rained Out

The grand opening of the new Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, GA feel victim to rain this past Saturday night. Another attempt to debut the track will be on Saturday, August 14th. Gates will open at 3:00 PM with racing to start at 7:00 PM.

Late Models top the card with a $3,000 to win feature race.

Needmore Speedway is 7 miles West of Exit 49 off I-75.

Track owner Chris Honeycutt said he had 130 cars registered to race Saturday night at Needmore Speedway's grand opening. The huge purse brought fans and drivers from across the state in significant numbers to the newest dirt track in South Georgia.
