Some darn good racing at NSS

Man, ya gotta love the TBARA sprints and tonights winner Dude Teate. He got put into the concrete during the heat race, and after extensive rebuilding started the feature near the back. He marched steadily through the field to a well deserved win.

That guy scared me to death TWICE! I was standing in turn 3 where Dude passed Troy DeCaire for the lead (not easy to do), and when he finally got a lap on Sonny Hartley. Both moves were daring and breath-taking!

The trucks also put on a heck of a race that ended with a one lap dash and a surprise 3 wide finish.

Now for the required complaint: no soap in the bathrooms again!

Dude is one of the best in sprints. wish i could have seen that action! makes me sad that the sprints got divided because we miss so much now. some awesome drivers in both series!

Maybe you want to complain about tech. I won't, they let me run with a 4 cylinder because the car count was low. That was a reasonable decision.

Progressive Racing Engine 360 Chevy motor in Dude Teate's car

Did any body else notice that the 0 car of Dude Teate won the TBARA feature with a Chevy motor instead of those unreliable (and slow), Fords that they were running? The Chevy was built by Progressive Engines in Miami and REALLY HONKED down the straightaways! CONGRATULATIONS DUDE!
