Super Lates this Saturday Punta Gorda Speedway

This Saturday July 31 the Super Lates are coming to Punta Gorda Speedway for 115 laps. Many have called for spots already so make sure you call for a slab. Speedway office number is 941-575-7223. Rules are posted on the web site puntagordaspeedway.com under the rules tab. Goodyear tires are available at the speedway for pick up and will be available for mount starting Friday. There will be practice Friday night with gates opening at 4:00pm. Saturday Pit gate opens at 11:30am with open practice at 12:00pm until 2:00pm, division practice starts at 3:00 until 4:30. Late Model qualifying will begin at 6:00.

Super Late Payout: There is a $100.00 entry fee and a $5.00 slab fee.

South East Champ Karts

On July 31st the South East Champ Karts will also be racing at PGS. It will be the "Ron Letourneau Tribute Race"
Ron (#96) is a veteran of the series that is battling Lung Cancer, he is expected to be at the track to present the winners trophy. There should be between 30 and 35 karts racing for one of the largest purses in karting.
Everybody come out and watch...should be exciting.

You can watch late models and 30 to 35 champ karts race for only 10 dollar grand stand tickets.
