do any of you men have any pics of the old bradenton track saramana off the early modles iam looking for some of my dad ron radley car #153 and 53 he race at golden gate to sunshine in the #12 yellow that buddy lewis own thanks alot one of his sons doug they call the crew the drity dozen

I don't have any pics of the car. but here he appears as the driver of the Yellow #12 in the Late Model drivers list in the back of the May 29, 1972, Sunshine Speedway program announcing the upcoming Memorial 100.

I've scanned in the cover of that program also (see below driver's list) but all I had was a very poor copy of the original so it's not very legible.

As you probably already know, they didn't run the Early Model class at SS.

Yep...that was my Dad. Hank the Crank (HTC)

Except it was Thornton.....only some racing buddies from the New York area call me the Tornton Boy......lol

Doug's Dad and mine raced mostly at Saramana in those days.

i can remember when your dad won half the m/s races one year in a vw and i good friend sonny huges won the other half now thats when racing was fun hell didnt take much to race then i think we all made money that year the pay out was good not any more lol you won alot of races to miss them days
