Citrus County Speedway is offering up $1,000 to the winner of the Mother's Day Weekend, May 13, Pure Stock 50 lap feature race.
We invite all drivers from other speedways that have cars comparable in rules to our Pure Stocks to come to CCS to take on our track regulars to see who is going to pick up the winner's laurels and take home the cash.
We feel we have some of the best Pure Stock competitors in the state racing at CCS with the likes of defending Pure Stock champion Larry Welter, Jr.; his dad, Larry Welter, Sr.; another father/son team of Wes and Lane Wilson, James Peters, Sport Wilson, Melvin Fockler, and Paul Koci to name a few.
The money is there so the question remains who is going to be up to the challenge.
