  • I'll say it for the Florida racers

To the State of Mass., thank you. Instead of spending extra money on healthcare, drivers can keep spending on their racing.

OH YEAH, It's much more important to keep racing than it is to worry about ones' health. I just want reform. Don't get me wrong. I don't want the government to pay for it but it does need reforming. If it's voted down, nothing will happen and the insurance companies will continue to dictate who can afford to be treated. I don't think the plan on the table is going to do much either. Why in hell does one person make a difference? Because all those a$$es in Washington have to vote along party lines. What a system we have.

      Oh yeah

Ok, if Brown hadn't won you would not have seen a big run away from the bill that they were going to try to pass. Things in this bill as taxing people 4 years before you seen the hc bill start, fines or jail time for not having hc ins. People in racing for years have put their racing 1st before they would buy hc ins. pay the power bill, rent, shoes for the kids, better car for the wife, etc, etc, etc, etc, the list could go on. Not saying that it is right, however that the way it is.

No offense but spoken like a true liberal, the government doesn't pay for anything, HARD WORKING AMERICANS DO!

I agree, it does need reforming but the emergency room isn't going to turn anybody away. The rest of us end up paying for it in the long run. Do you want to know how to fix it, most democrats and the media disagree because it would be politically incorrect. Get these (expletive deleted) illegals the (expletive deleted) out of our country. We pay for them to be treated, they take our jobs under the table, send their money home and they don't pay into the system.

Actually we had a chance to vote somebody in office who has a history of crossing party lines on several key issues. His VP candidate was even more of an independent but we (expletive deleted) that one up too.

Its the media that has (expletive deleted) everything up. I will give you guys credit, O'bama puts on one hell of a speech saying absolutely nothing but the majority of America is too damn stupid to realize it. Now look!

Just a little offense taken. I was a very hard core conservative most of my life. My views have moderated but I am far from liberal. I don't vote on party lines and I try to make unbiased decisions.

The ER doesn't turn people away but you are still suppose to pay. How about long term care that is expensive but necessary for survival. What do you do if you don't have insurance and can no longer afford to pay. You get on government assistance, which does not begin to provide the care you need. So you are basically given a death sentence.

Sorry, I am just going on your previous posts.

I pay out the ass for insurance now, roughly $10,500 a year for myself, my wife and my little girl. Other then some heart problems that havent caused my rates to change we are healthy ages 35, 28 and 9 mos. We don't smoke and have a good family history. We pay a little more for better insurance, thats our choice. Here's my point when it comes to O'dickheads plan from my understanding. Being small business owners we would have to pay a penalty if we wanted to keep our current insurance which doesnt fall under the governments plan. How is that fair? I didn't vote for socialism.

Those that voted for O'bama expect to be taken care of by those that voted for McCain.

No problem. I'll whoop your ass at the Lil 500 tomorrow, if I get things done.
I have good insurance but it cost me more than you can imagine. And it might be going soon. I'll tell you sometime maybe.

                which is what's weird.

all the Dem's had to do was vote this through. there was nothing the Repub's could do to stop it. prior to Brown, the Repub's didn't even have enough votes to force a filibuster.

It's not about the party's, the problem is the people in Washington. There needs to be TERM LIMITS, I say vote out any one who has held their office for 12 years or more ( thats two terms for a Senator). WE NEED ELECTED OFFICIALS WHO REPRESENT THE PEOPLE, NOT CAREER POLITICIANS. I believe that is the message that Massachusetts was sending to Washington.

if term limits are good for the President, how can they not be good for Congress?

Wonder what kind of reception the Prez gets in Tampa, the day after the "State of the Union"....it's expected he'll announce billions to be spent on the freaking bullet train.
