First some of us are getting totally screwed over on our property taxes. Example, my neighbors house is valued 100K over mine but their property taxes are $2500 less a year. WTF Florida, but this is old news.
Today I went to register a new horse trailer at the tag agency and while I was there I decided to renew the tag on my truck and open trailer which is due in Nov. The registration on my 2004 Dodge ram 2500 went up from $87 a year to $129 and my open trailer went up from $23 a year to $46. How in the F..K is this legal and who imposed these increases? I would like to personally sit down and talk to the limp wristed, pencil dick that came up with this bright idea to make such a drastic increase in vehicle registration renewals when money is already tight for alot of people.
The gentleman at the tag agency was really nice and seemed sincere when he said that he felt horrible for having to collect the new fees from everyone. He also told me to look around and see how much money is being wasted doing BS work on our roadways.
Does anybody know where to look to see who proposed these increases? Is the governors office a good place to start?
This is racing related because everyone of us has to get our cars to the track one way or another.
