Matt Crafton will be happy to show you:

i like Benson, but his booth work here is really lacking. Hornaday did not block. he took a natural line into the corner. having your bumper 6" inside of the guy in front is not "having the position". but it's what spotter racers learn.
a non-spotter guy knows that he doesn't "have" the spot until he gets to the door and would have backed up as he never had a chance to get that far.
this is slightly different from the immediately preceding incident where Crafton wrecked Bodine:
http://www.nascar.com/video/truck/20...car/index.html
here, Bodine clearly blocked Crafton for a 1/3 of the straight and was out of the natural entrance line to the corner. Crafton may or may not have been able to get up past Todd's rear tire without the blocking, but it was still a very marginal move.
good on Nascar for black flagging Crafton. i would have been happier with a one lap penalty. this is the only chance Crafton has of not getting wrecked the hell out of a race in the near future, that the other drivers will accept that Nascar is going to take care of the situation.
