  • Some one please explain this strictly stocks thing

Okay, i'm looking to put together a strictly stock for nss. Seems like the only thing you can run is a g-body type car there...but they are getting collectable to expensive. How come you can run certain cars at osw and not at nss? I really want to get into a strictly stock and the cars they allow to run at osw seem more affordable, but it is a lot further away for me. Does anyone know if they are going to be conforming and allowing other types of vehicle's into the strictly stock division?????? I don't want to start building a car and then get turned away

Anything but a four banger. They will let you run import or domistic. We need the car count. I know what rules say. Fascar has relized that their rules for the class are slightly outdated.

might want to double check with the tech guys but yes, they have been letting 6cyl Camaros and Mustangs run.

i know that they have allowed v6 camaros...as for my V6 FORD PROBE i was told i couldnt race it because it has fuel inj. and elc. fuel pump...so i guess know one really knows what the rules really are. your best bet is to just find any cheap full size with a carb to avoid a problem

watched strict stocks and nss last night. Couple g-bodys, saw a v-6 80's camaro and i think a ford probe. Are these good to go now for strictly stocks then? I know I can find a camaro easily

you're less likely to take crap for a v6 Camaro than for a v6 Probe. i know for certain that they're not going to let a 4cyl Probe run.

if you go in the grandstands, just stay after and cross over into the pits after the racing is done and talk to the tech man about what he wants.

Why is this in the complainers corner? Just curious. I don't have a stake in it.
