Question Who And Why???

I dont see the post on here I put up about Putnam county speedways official website so the fans and drivers from there can go and keep updated on the results and happenings at putnam,I know karnac doesnt allow postings on other community racing websites but come on this is an official track website,So who and why did someone on here delete it ,inquiring minds would like to know ....I thought karnac was a place for the racers and fans of florida to come to and get current updated info,So why would karnac windex a post about a track website

Well still no response from the moderators or administaration ....I highly doubt it was just a glitch all the other post are still there....I will post it again,I dont see why karnac would have a problem of people informing drivers and fans of a certain race tracks website....a driver from putnam created and operates this site to try and keep fans and drivers updated on events,happenings,results & etc....that goes on at the track,I really see no harm in posting a track website to keep the racing community informed on stuff at the track.Thanks for your reply Benny.

Sorry, but I never saw it Denise. They do have a dirt racing site down below, but I guess it was not transferred their either. It's a mystery ??

The problem may lay in the fact that it is NOT the official site per the track. If you call the track and ask they tell you www.putnamcountyspeedway.com as to Official track site and any others are NOT official in any capacity.

LOL...obviousley kip you didnt read your pm....that putnam .com site has links all init directing people to other lame bogus sites that bash and trash and speak bs lies about jack and this site along with lots of other people including myself......so if you think for one second putnam wants that kind of negative publicity your are mistaken and also that .com site is operated and ran by a individule that has been ban from this board.....go figure.... .so if your into DRAMA,DECIET & LIES by all means promote on the putnam .com site

I do not promote ANYTHING but the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series. I am just telling you what the person running the track said, and that was putnamcountyspeedway.com was the official track site. Not picking sides on anything, just going by the facts. It is EASY to find out just call the track.
I am not Lying about anything, I called the track. It seems you are the one on here posing information that could be classified as "DECEIT and LIES" by calling sites not recognised by the track the "Official" site.

Seems to be a slight disagreement here . But forget the web site and just go to the track . Haven't been there for a while , but hear the racing is pretty good . It was always a good track to race at .And i would think that the owner is barely hanging on like most track owners . Please support Putnam and every other track you can get to . The economic situation for Florida race tracks is as bad as its ever been . All of the tracks need the FULL support of fans , racers , and sponsors .

Here is your reason

The reason is there is so much arguing about which site is the "official" site that it was deemed better to just delete both the posts claiming to be the "official" site. We post the results from the track each week but as far as getting caught up in the internet battles that are going we choose not to participate in them. That is why the posts were deleted.

I have an Idea!! How bout you call the track and find out which one is "official"? Hell, I'll even give you the .40 or .50 cents that it costs to make the phone call.[ since your the admin., you know who I am]

I think what may be key is WHO is official instead of which site is official? When one calls Putnam County Speedway, who answers the phone, and do they really KNOW what the official website is? It may be a matter of whoever is in charge informing whoever is working there to say a certain site is official, or maybe not. Maybe the person answering the phone is just guessing or is not fully informed.

Also, at the present time Ocala Speedway has two sites that people can visit for news, info, results, etc. One is OcalaSpeedway.com, which is the OFFICIAL website. The other is www.myspace.com/OcalaSpeedway, which I operate as an extra way to promote the track to a younger audience. The MySpace site plainly states that it is NOT the official site and it has links back to the official site all over it. Not everyone who operates a site like mine (and the MySpace site is mine alone) puts a disclaimer on it stating that their site is not recognised by the speedway it represents. Perhaps Putnam County Speedway should look at what is out there claiming to represent the track, choose what is officially speaking for the operators of the track, and then legally force all unofficial sites to add disclaimers, or shut down. That would prevent any confusion, or prevent anyone with a personal vendetta from misrepresenting the track in a way that makes it look bad.
