Have I Done Something Wrong???

Three times in the past month or so I have responded to a post on the Real Racin' message boards, and later those posts were apparently deleted. In each case, the posts were a direct response to something said in a thread. There were no flames, no accusations, no name calling. Just responses, posted in good faith in an attempt to elaborate on what had already been said. The latest was this afternoon, where I mentioned Mike Peters' pledge of no qualifying at Ocala Speedway. Apparently that was a big no-no because the post went "poof" very quickly.

To whom it may concern...

If you don't want me to post here, then simply ask me to please go away. It's really that easy. I'll go with no complaints. I'm not the type of person who wants to hang out where I am not wanted. Just delete my name from the member list and I'll be gone if that is what you want.

If there is a problem with anything I (or anyone else) posts here, then please have the stones to at least tell me what I did wrong when you zap my posts. Send me an email explaining the infraction so that I can be sure to not let it happen again. Even better yet, send me an email and allow me to fix the post. I didn't come here looking to offend, embarrass, or generally cause any sort of problem, so if I do then please allow me to make it right.

Other than that I enjoy this message board and I mainly use it to gain info and keep up with the latest in Florida racing. I would appreciate someone letting me know how to continue using this board without causing some sort of problem.

The only post I know of that was deleted was the one about Davey Allison. I personaly deleted it. I had posted that it was 15 years to the day that Davey had passed and you responded with something that had to do with his wife possibly cheating on him. There was no need for that the theme of the post was to pay tribute to someone not stir the shizit with gossip. As far as other posts I have no idea why they were deleted. If you have a problem with anything on this board please e-mail me directly at rick_anges@yahoo.com as far as your other posts I will check into it and see if I can get you an answer.

That's not it. The latest deletion was under the Volusia thread that is now sticky at the top. I mentioned something about Mike Peters telling me before the season began that there would not be anymore qualifying at Ocala, and stated that the Leap Year Challenge and the Powell Memorial fields were set with heats, B mains, and provisionals. It went "poof" for some reason shortly thereafter. The other one I can't remember which thread it was under, now can I remember the content. But I do remember it was brief and in response to something someone said, and I was in agreement with the person I was responding to.

Anyway, I'm coming to the conclusion that it's not that important after all.

I think there's some sort of glitch causing it. I've heard from others that stuff disappears.

I have tried posting 4 threads on this board and they never show up. It says your posting will be reviewed my moderator before being showed...been trying to start a thread for days now and nothing???

mention something about someone like Davy Allison on the date of his death, fine. I had forgot it. Didn't see it anywhere else. However, if someone else wants to add something so be it. Look at what happen with CW's thing on MJ. Anyway, she did, with a cw singer. Not hearsay.

we need to enjoy the good news and blow off the negative nasty stuff. its not all that important. this defintely isnt the place for the weak and timid... lol
