  • Orlando Circus World

I here Orlando Speedworld's new name is going to be Orlando Circus world by the end of the year 2008...? Sounds like the direction that they are headed in. I haven’t seen any real bosses out there that have a big pair of balls yet. I would like to know what Robert Hart has planned for the rest of the year. He has to let these MONKEYS go .You have someone out there in charge that wears pink shoes most of the time and dresses with rainbow colors. This gesture I do not care for and frankly it scares me that I watch out of the corner of my eye while I am using the bathroom. I’m not bashing Gay people but I bring my child out to Speedworld occasionally and they don’t need to see this from a manager nor do I or anyone else.
I guess that since the regular Friday night boys are not coming out as much as in the past, Speedworld has now come up with spectator racing. What a joke. I see a car last week and the guy was hauling laundry in the back seat (probably his wife’s car). Seen another go into the wall last night! I guess FASCAR has not learned about their insurance policy. Or maybe they just don’t care and the want to drive racing down into the ground.
You monkeys are running it like a carnival out there. Most of the help fit the descriptions of carnival personal.. For Example Rick Bristol looks like he just got in from putting up a malfunction Ferris wheel that is about to come loose .Stay clear of them nuts the will hit you in the face. The dune buggy driver needs to shave and take a bath. The fat guy doing the tech has no clue. I seen him argue with a superb tech that has been racing for years.
I see Dave and Mark not seeing eye to eye lately. Dave has been announcing for a while at Speedworld. Mark you are a good guy but maybe you should concentrate on NSS and let dave do the talking and picture taking. I miss the Driver/ Classes picture pages. WE knew who was racing. Now we have no clue because of the fighting going on. Mark you do have the website looking better. But I think maybe Dave and Jane need more access so the can write up articles on all classes, not just one class. It sure would be nice to see daves section of pics back also.
Also would like to know what happened in the modifieds last night? I see the 8 Randy Fralick go off the track to put another tire on , and I heard that Rick Bristol did not let him comeback out? I heard that Bristol shows alot of favoritism for the other drivers. I remember a couple weeks ago The 4b Alan Bruns had an axle come out of his car and the fat tech inspector waited down buy his car with the headphones they gave him several laps and which he did not return.
It may be me but I hope some educated people can get on here and put in there inputs, dislike, belief’s etc...... Mike

You sir are an idiot !

I would and normally do not call people names, but this person is a total idiot with a big mouth. You can say what you want about me, I did not let him out because the race was green, we have not let cars out all year if they do not make it up before green. If a yellow would have happened he would have been allowed to come out. I have not waited for people in the pits all year and Alan Bruns, would have not gotten any different deal. IF you listen to the scanner you will hear that. NOw for the other folks you have blasted and talked about on here, you really need to apoligize for your rude comments, I know you won't because you are so cool and bad......and you are another that hides behind internet names and spouts off at the mouth. If anyone knows, and I am sure there are some that do, who this clown is please let someone know so he can be helped from the property. OH by the way, the ferris wheel I put up is working fine, I made $5,000 dollars the first day with it ! Get a life....somewhere else.

This is the internet at its worst. Some annonymous a$$hole uses a public forum to spread lies and distrust.

Does that really make you feel good? You are like the loosers that have been starting fires in Brevard county. Any idiot can start trouble, it takes so much more effort to accomplish something worthwhile.

I count as friends all the people that you have attemped to smear on your post. I'll take the liberty of speaking on their behalf. Brokeback, stay away. We don't want you and we don't need you. The track is better off without you.

WOW, I was going to stay out of this one but I just had to put my $.02 in.

1st "Brokebackmike45" NOT to be confused with 45mike, why dont you tell us who you really are.

2nd you pick on a guy who has ALWAYS watched out for the little guys and didnt he win promoter of the year a couple of years back? He talks to, and THANKS ALL RACERS for showing up. I wish the Gm at NSS was more like this.

3rd You asked for educated people to get on here and give their dislikes and beliefs. I am educated and I dislike your post and I believe you are a F***ING idiot.

This made it to the board?

Hard to believe that this made it to the board and I couldn't get on here for months because I didn't have any thing positive to say! I will assume the guy is mentally handicapped, (maybe he's from Boston). Any way this should be good. Maybe the guy that is flamboyant at the track will entertain some of O.S.F.'s flirting!

Hey hey now, I resemble that remark.

For real though broke back, which is what would happen if I got my hands around your neck, OSW is one of the friendliest and most well run facilities I have probably ever raced with. Everyone who works there takes time to get to know you, even if you are not a local or a regular. I have raced at many different tracks in 5 different states, all in support divisions and OSW really makes me feel welcome each time I am there.

And this statement is written by someone who drove 5 hours one way to race for no payout.

That's the difference between a Track Forum and a Racing Forum. A Track Forum would not tolerate such outbursts because the it places the facility in a negative light. Whereas most Racing Forums which discuss all tracks and racing in general, almost embraces the negative rhetoric as it draws more people. More people means more viewers of the sponsor ads and more clicks on the Google and Yahoo ads, which PAY the host website $$$ for every click they generate.

It's human nature. Have you EVER seen a fight where there weren't a 30 to 50 people gathered around to watch and shake their head in disgust? Have you ever seen a wreck on the highway that didn't get traffic going in BOTH directions slowed down so the drivers can get a glimpse of the carnage and mayhem? The same holds true with controversy.

When you have some a$$hole (and I don't mean THIS particualr incident)stirring up crap by calling good people names or slandering a facility, you'll find it's one of the most popular threads on the board. The Track Forum on the other had, does NOT embrace negative dialogue as it places the track in a negative light. Many of the instigators aren't even authentic. Just some faux screen name somebody made up to hide behind and start $hit or insult people they don't like for whatever reason. I've seen folks having more than one screen name argue with themselves because nobody else was interested enough in their vendetta to pursue further conversation with the required reponses asking, "Oh yeah? What makes you say that?"

KARNAC, as a racing forum and not a track forum, does a pretty good job at weeding out most of the BS. Occasionally someone will scream their "rights have been violated" or they've been "censored" (GASP!!). In such cases, when I run across them on other forums, I send them too www.waaaaaaaa.com for an explanation of the TRUE American philosophies pertaining to this issue.

Still other sites claim to be "uncensored", which in itself is baloney, because they still censor, delete AND ban. Then they require you to become a member in order to view their forum, which in itself is censorship. <cough>

It's a fine line we walk when dealing with the rights of others and how they impact the rights of still others. Sometimes it isn't easy distinguishing productive, stimulating discussion from malicious piddle. The admins and moderators of each forum is tasked enforcing the standards which represent the ambient personna of that particular forum. It isn't always easy, especially when you consider the original post creating this thread. Clearly it's intention was one of malice and degradation.

I say we all just shake hands, have ourselves an RC Cola and go watch a good western.

While many people misunderstand the "free speech" spoken of in the first amendment, I don't think this guy is too out of line, but he is a rebel without a clue.

Rusty is awesome for the track. Whatever his personal issues are he doesn't let them interfere with his job, and he does his job well. We could use another downtown promoter maybe, but as far as handling on track promotions, he does a great job.

I agree with Rick. There were no openings to let that modified out, and he was already several laps down anyway. He got the same position and saved gas.

I kind of like the spectator racing, and I'm an insurance guy. Of course it's not covered, that's why you sign your life away before you go out there.

My only complaint about friday was TOO MANY CLASSES, especially classes that are not big fan classes, before we got to the main event - the Goodyear series.

It was 10:15 when they started. That's too late for a lot of people, in fact kids were asleep all over the stands.
