Well Chris, we've called every track in Florida and asked what the payouts were for ministocks so I don't know where you're getting your info from. The real truth is that they pay more, and they guarantee all payouts no matter what the car count is. If you take the green flag, you are guaranteed your entry fee for that night. I suggest maybe reducing the purses for top three finishers and paying out further back in the field. This way all the drivers have a chance of putting a little money back in their pocket, no matter what the car count is. If only two or three cars show up for a race, they should have an option to get their entry fee back and go home before the race starts instead of finding out there is no prize money after racing all night.

Please let jason know that payout will be enforced and
minimum car count is important and will be raised from
8 to 10 cars very shortly. We feel we have the largest
payout in mini stock in the state. However, this is
not always a win win for the drivers for sure. While I
am grateful for everyones business I am very
sympathetic to the needs of the racer. I know how much
time he and others puts into their car and the
moneies spent to race. I sympathize with him and
others. However, It is very important for the group
of mini stocks to maintain their cohesion as a group
and remain friends or the car count will continue to
decline. I have tried to keep your car count high so
you can be paid nicely but forces within your class
are united at undermining the management and the rules
each time they are presented. Today modifications to
the rules have been made and will be posted timely.
These rules will not be modified for some time. If
these rules are not satisfactory or workable to
everones liking than they are welcome to leave.
