I'm willing to bet there was some serious discussion in the pits after that.
Have seen some fan participation races go much more damaging than that though. Like the brand new Crovette climbing the back stretch wall at Ocala a few years ago.....Nassy....

The worst one was two Corvettes and a Volare at NSS in 1996. We owned the Volare.
