Two. Regardless of what the founding fathers thought, they were in the mindset that slavery was ok, and women have no rights and should be treated as property.
Women were given the right to vote, own property, sit on a jury et. al. by people with a "liberal" mindset. Sometimes a little bit of liberalism is progressive.
