  • The $700 Billion dollar ( minimum ) plan to rape your childrens future

    here's how the vote went:
    http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/roll674.xml

here's the list of Representatives for the state of Florida:
    http://www.house.gov/house/MemberWWW_by_State.shtml#fl

you need to make sure to call your Rep ( especially if he's a Democrat ) and make sure his head is right. and if they voted "No" give them a thumbs up. there's going to be a bunch of pressure on this.

you might also want to add that you want the heads of Henry Paulson and all of the upper management of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on pikes on the Mall and that their entire executive compensation packages be seized and applied to those companies balance sheets.

what, oh what, would Obama do without the services of Franklin Raines:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Raines
"On December 21, 2004 Raines accepted what he called "early retirement" [4] from his position as CEO while U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigators continued to investigate alleged accounting irregularities. He is accused by The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO), the regulating body of Fannie Mae, of abetting widespread accounting errors, which included the shifting of losses so senior executives, such as himself, could earn large bonuses [5]."

I'll put it in redneck terms.

let's take taxpayer money to bail out big Moe. Which whomes company is not publicly traded on the market that fell after the news of the no vote.

that in itself puzzles me. big Moe is traded, swapped or whatever you want to call it in offices and over the phone.

Big Moe loans money to little Joe who makes 40k a year and moves into a 600k home with a flexible morgage. interest goes up and little Joe can't make the payments and forcloses on a house big Moe can't even dump to recoupe costs.

Little Joe moves into an apartment.

Big Moe still gets his bonuses and perks.

    Big Moe is going broke.

Goverment steps in to bail out big Moe.

Big Moe still keeps his job and perks and bonuses.

Big Moe has money again and calls little Joe and tells him to go find another big house cuz big Moe is ready to dish out rediculous loans again.

    Out of evryone elses pockets.

Little Joe defaults on huge loan #2.

    Big Moe goes broke again.

Did i mention big Moe STILL has and gets his bonuses, perks, salary and so on.

I can hardly believe there was THAT many YES vote.

Guess i'm too dumb to be a politition.............and that is honestly what they think of us anyhow.

P.S No offence to Moe or Joe on Karnac whoever they may be...i was just using names off the top of my head.
Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

Sherman, set the Wayback machine for news from 2006:
          http://money.cnn.com/2006/04/05/real...omes/index.htm
"Nearly 40 percent of all home sales were for second homes, up from 36 percent the year before -- 27.7 percent of all home purchases were for investment (compared with 23 percent in 2004) and 12.2 percent were bought as vacation homes (13 percent in 2004)."

seriously, who didn't expect that to end badly?
