Ex ASA Delco Series, Lingenfelter LS1 short block. Was rebuilt by Schwanke Racing Engines and road raced.
stock LS1 crank and rods with Mahle forged pistons
Engine was road raced at Sebring, Daytona, Road Atlanta and others
race winning motor utilizing the LS truck heads (706) giving a compression ratio of about 11 to 1.
Coupled with a .580 lift cam this combination made 480 hp and nearly 480 torque!
This motor was replaced by an LS6 version for more power.
Cam is gone, comes with two sets of heads, the original set of 706 truck heads and a set of early LS1 853's.
