8th Annual O’Reilly USCS Florida State Championship Race at Volusia a washout.
September 29, 2007 - Barberville, FL – The 8th O’Reilly United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com Annual Florida State Sprint Car Championship scheduled for Saturday night at Volusia Speedway Park www.volusiaspeedwaypark.com . A new date for the event could be announced early next week.
Twenty-five drivers from five states pre-entered for the event and most of those including 2006 Champion, Danny Martin, Jr. and current O’Reilly USCS National points leader, Terry Gray were at the track in the parking lot at 3:00 p.m. After three sessions of heavy rain left the track flooded and additional rain on the way, the event was called at that time.
