Stephen "Steve" Mitchell of Orlando, age 66, passed away on May 13, 2010. He opened his business Mitchell's Automotive in Orlando in 1979. Steve was predeceased by his father Darrell, Brother Randy and Sister Janet. He is survived by his Wife of 35 years Charlene, son Robert Kasper (wife Wendy), daughter Lorrie (David), son Jodi, mother Dorothy, brother Guy (wife Carol, 3 nephews), grandchildren Lauren, Cody, Taylor and Great Grandchild Alexis.
Steve was well-known to local Orlando-area racers as his shop was almost next door to Dennis Boyd's shop for many years and right next to Tyler's Towing owned by long-time demo derby driver Danny Tyler. Both steve and son Robert Kasper raced with the former Classic Auto Racing Series.
