    BOBBY BRACK ON ESPN2

Bobby Brack, Florida late model modified legend, will be the Guest Angler on the ESPN2 television show – George Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing. The episode airs on Sunday, March 2, 2008, at 7:30 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time), and repeats on Saturday, March 8, at 5:30 a.m.

Poveromo and Brack shot this episode in Brazil, where they caught and released nine blue marlin between 250 and 500-pounds, two white marlin and a sailfish. They were fishing off the coast of Canavieiras, which is in the Brazilian state of Bahia.

George Poveromo, host of the highly popular show, has been Bobby Brack’s biggest fan since he began attending the races with his grandfather at the now defunct Hialeah Speedway back in 1966. Poveromo, now 49 years of age, cheered on Brack every Saturday night until he left for college in 1976.

Poveromo and Brack reunited in the early ‘80s and have fished together since. Brack has become an accomplished big game angler, having caught Atlantic and Pacific sailfish and blue marlin, swordfish, white marlin, and striped marlin. In addition to Florida and the Bahamas, Brack has wet a line in big game hot spots the likes of Panama, Cancun, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Tobago, Ixtapa, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela.
