I am having a serious problem tonight with the wireless so updates maybe long in coming or even after the races. Right now the Sprints are on the track qualifying.
6:40 and the mods have run their hot laps and qualifying. I am happy to report that Buzzie Reutimann's car has finally come around and he is fast and was the fastest for his heat. Jason Hughes has set the all time record of the 3 days for the DIRTcar Mods with a 18.680. Mods will have their heat races soon.
Now on the track are the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars. This is their last night here and fans are packing into Volusia Speedway Park to see these guys. Who will win tonight?
In spite of the cold night air, and I do mean cold, the stands are packed. It was reported tonight that the injured Cody Darrah, driver of the #91 Kasey Kahne sprint, may be out of action for the next 9 months in racing. Darrah needs surgery on his broken leg from the car accident he was in yesterday on his way to the track. Brad Sweet will drive the #91 again tonight for the hurt Cody.
Jason Sides, #7S, has set fast time for tonight with a 13.303. Up next will be the 4 heat races for the DIRTcar Modifieds.
Heat 1 for the Mods is on the track now. Buzzie Reutimann and Garrett Stewart are in this heat. Buzzie is currently third with Garrett in 9th. Buzzie has finshed 2nd in the heat and Garrett 8th. Buzzie has made the A-Main.
Heat 2 - #3 Austin Dillon, #k12 Scotty Kincaid, and 36 Kenny Wallace top 3 in heat 2. Heat 3 was #21S Donny Schwartz, Bob Broking and #15 Jon Henry. Heat 4 is racing now. It is Clint Bowyer #33, Ty Dillon #2 and Kenny Schrader #9.
Sprint cars are up next. #15 Donny Schatz has won the heat, #13 was second and #7 Craig Dollansky. Heat 2 is up now. Bronson Maeschen was the second heat followed by #11 Steve Kinser, and 15 Donny Schatz. Heat #3 is up now. Mark Smith has won heat 3 followed by the #7 Craig Dollansky, and 6 Danny Lasoski. Last heat just about ready to run. Joey Saldana took heat 4 followed by the 83 and 24.
Up next Modifieds B-Mains. Jeff Babcock has won B-Main #1 followed by Steve Schnapf, Tony Anderson, Todd Sherman and Bob Gerke.

Now it is the last chance race for the Sprints with top 4 going into A-Main. Here we go: Top 4 transferring to the A Main are the 3, 1, 91 and 5W. Up now the last B Main for the Modifieds.

Young Austin Dillon leads the way for the 20 lap A-Main Modified feature. Second is 21, 17, 2, and 00 Buzzie Reuitmann. Cuation lap 1. Restart with Austin on the point. Ty Dillon is in the 2 in fourth. Clint Bowyer is 9th, Kenny Wallce is 11th, Kenny Schrader 13th. 3, 21, 2, 00, and 17. caution lap 4 - turn 4 #1 Schuyler Nabre (one of the UNOH drivers). 1 being pushed into pits and 1PJ pushed to start.
Restart 3, 21, 2, 00 and 15. Wallace is 7th, Schrader and Bowyer behind Wallace. Schrader seems to be having steering problems in his 9 going backwards. Caution lap 8. Ty Dillon goes in while running 4th - possible tie end problem. 3, 21, 00, 15 and 11X. Kenny Wallace is 6th.
12 laps to go and the Saints have won the SUPER BOWL. sCHRADER 12, BOWYER 13TH.
CAUTION 8 15 touches 00, 00 okay and continues on but 15 has spun along with the 05. 05 is slowly going around the track checking out his ride, 15 is still in turns 3 and 4 and 01 is against the turn 3 wall and 182 against the turn 3 wall. 182 being towed into the pits now, working on 01. 01 slowly going into the pits on it's own power.
top 5 now 3, 21, 00, 11, and 36 Kenny Wallace. Schrader is 10th and Bowyer 12th. Kenny wallace has now passed Buzzie and run 4th, Buzzie 5th. 3, 21, 11, 26, 00
3 has huge lead over 21. Caution lap 13 - turn 2 #72. Continues on. 72 going into pits for crew attention. It is now 3, 21, 11, 36, 37, 00, 12, 45, 9, 01 Bowyer is 13th.
3, 21, 11, 36, 37, and 00. Kenny Wallace has taken over 3rd, Reutimann has spun on lap 16 after 12 got into him on the backstretch. Reutimann gets the car refirede and rejoins the field in the rear for the restart. Schrader now 9th, Wallace 3rd, and Bowyer 13th.
Ty Dillon is now back on the track after being on pit road for awhile. Schrader has tire issue but is still on the track. Austin leaeds the way over 21, 36, 11 and 37. White flag is out for Austin Dillon. Austin Dillon has WON the DIRTcar UMP Nationals Modified race. Wallace finished 3rd.
