Some good racing and hard racing over the past weekend.Saturday night at Citrus County Speedway looked like it might have been Richie Smith night but Brad Bowman spoiled the party.The feature started eighteen and Bowman got by Smith and was too strong for anybody to get a serious run on afterwards.Bruce Bennett took track champ for 2019.Becca took home the twenty seven truck Pro Truck 75 lap feature.Sunday afternoon at Auburndale saw twenty two cars start the 100 lap season finale with Nick Neri outlasting the carnage to nip Jesse Dutilly for the 10 grand winners check.Kyle Peters took the 25 lap Citrus Purestock/Showtime Street Stock Auburndale V8 Bomber feature.As I was walking in Auburndale on Sunday I had just turned left at the flagstand heading for the turn four stands.A guy was standing about three feet ahead on my left.As I approached him another guy hops down a couple rows of the stands and grabs him to wrestle.At which point a cell phone goes skidding across the pavement hitting my feet and the guy coming out of the stands has tackled the guy standing there (now about two feet behind me) and his him pushed into the chain link fence that seperates the walkway from the catch fence and track wall and is punching him like no tomorrow.At which point about twenty different people came running to step in as I turned to see in a WTF moment.Now I will say I have had somebody approach me before as I've got somewhere but I've never ever had anybody fight over who was first.I feel special.
