The green and white Carbone Express rolled into Inverness last night and steamrolled it's way through qualifying,setting fast time and taking home the victory in the 50 lap main event.A race that started seventeen cars dwindled to nine by races end with only eight of those being on the lead lap.Daniel Keene kept Dutilly in his sights the entire way and crossed under the checker flag second with Brad Bowman third,Daniel Webster fourth in Keith Zavrel's #47x and Tovia Grynrwicz rounding out the top five.Thomas Peet took home a cakewalk of a win in an eleven car mini stock feature.Noah Cornman held off Anthony Cataldi to take the win in the seventeen car legend feature and James Peters returned to victory lane at Citrus County Speedway in the twenty car Pure Stock feature.Peters in his #5 ran in a four car blanket most of the race with brothers Sport Wilson and Wes Wilson along with the #58 of Larry Welter jr.Peters took a tight win with Sport Wilson's #94 pinballing from contact with Welter as they came off turn four on the final lap with the finish being Peters,Welter jr,and Wes Wilson third.Sport Wilson finished twelth after being hit twice more after coming seperated from the contact with Welter.Now the Pro Trucks.Big thumbs down here.Twenty five trucks qualified for their twenty one lap race.Jason Lester's #7 scooby doo special set fast time.After going green the spin and wreck fest was on.After going red and countless yellows,45 minutes after the initial drop of the green,the race officials had enough and called the race complete on lap 21 of the scheduled fifty lap feature.Derek Pugh was declared the winner with Lester second and Cody McDuffie third.Racing was wrapped up by 10:25 pm.
