2017 RACING SEASON KICKS OFF JANUARY 21 AT DESOTO SPEEDWAY WITH SMITH MEMORIAL FOR WINGLESS SPRINTS AND SSCS DOUBLE HEADER
We are excited that the 2017 Racing Season officially gets underway on Saturday Jan 21 at Desoto Speedway in Bradenton. The Smith Family of Gibsonton will be remembered with the Wingless Sprints running The Round Daddy 30 in memory of Willard, Robert and Daryl Smith, also in action will be SSCS Open Wheel Modifieds, SSCS Street Stocks, Mod Mini's, Mini Stocks and TQ Midgets.
Pit Gates Open at 1:30, Grandstand Gates Open at 4:30pm, Qualifying at 6pm with Racing getting underway at 7pm.
The 2017 Chase to the Championship Desoto point season for all competing divisions will kick off on this night, if its a SSCS racing division you will receive both SSCS points and Desoto Speedway points, March 4 has been designated a Desoto Speedway double points night for all competing divisions.
An Open Practice has been set for Friday Jan 20 from 3pm - 9pm, watch our website or facebook page for any other open practices. We also have track rental available, just call the speedway for times available.
